Just tried, I have high speedbroadband. Internet explorer works faster now so that is great.
I first uninstalled IDM to try download via fullspeed, download speed was 2222kb/s and with IDM I reach 2300KB/s so that is not improved.
I reinstalled IDM and that works great together, so many thanks

i downloaded it only because of the comments, otherwise i wouldn't believe, then i tested myself and i can assure you it really made a difference

(almost 200% here, and it was already optimizated by some .reg, tuneup utilities and NETeagle)

just an observation: the thing that is intended to run IE or Firefox to load a page didn't work here, even with the firewall turned off, and the download thing worked only with the firewall turned off.
