Rough Story Line:

1) Extract the rar's with WinRAR, 7-Zip, or WinACE
_____If you get "CRC failed in file name. The file is corrupt"! error, use repair command:
_____Open Winrar from the Start Menu. Navigate to and select the damaged file. Click "Repair" on the toolbar
2) Mount or Burn the iso.
_____Mount: use the included Microsoft Virtual ROM tool,
___________or whatever you prefer. Then, find the new drive in "My Computer"
_____or
_____Burn: burning software has the option to "Burn from Image".
__________"QUAKE4.iso" is the image.
__________You'll need a Dual-Layer DVD burner and software like Nero,
__________plus a blank Dual-Layer DVD disk.
_____Mounting is faster, cheaper, and easier, but requires HDD space
_____Burning to Disk costs more and is slow, but gives a Hard Copy
3) Install Game, (serial: 9TFP-TXCG-XFMM-XXR9-9DGT) but don't crack yet
___You can't paste the serial into the installer. WRITE IT DOWN BEFORE YOU BEGIN TO INSTALL
4) Apply Patches all the way to v1.4.2 (then backup the updated game file).
5) Copy DNS v1.4.2 cracks over updated game files in the folder:
___C:\Program Files\id Software\Quake 4
6) Go Online and let None Survive!

For Multi-Player / Create games, Vista users may have to run the game as administrator,
or Vista will deny Q4 permissions to create files inside C:\Program Files\.
Run it with admin priviledges (right click, "run as admin") or you may get a harmless but nasty looking error.
